I wonder what will VW in Europe, or at least Denmark do. My car is soon to reach 60.000 km service mark. Will they change oil as precaution or just leave it as is?
The company is recalling vehicles with the seven-speed variety of its direct-shift gearboxes, bearing the cost for replacing defective equipment and upgrading the software, it said in an e-mail statement. LMC estimates Volkswagen sold about 680,000 vehicles equipped with the potentially faulty DSG gearboxes.
Volkswagen has been and will continue to actively cooperate with the competent authorities. Volkswagen will launch a voluntary recall for DSG issues. Details in regards to the recall, Volkswagen will be announced in the near future.

Today I was contacted by a group of French VW owners that are having same problems as I have, and they are organised. They informed that VW in China have prolonged warranty on VW DSG7 gearboxes… Which is good news for Chinese owners, but why are European owners silent in this matter?
