After I’ve gotten Flywheel replaced, car was running as a dream for a longest time ever. But lately, it started to show the early symptoms of the previous issues. Noise, uneven ride and gear changing etc. So they decided it could be time for replacement of dual clutch for DSG7. Complaint about shaky ride, uneven and inconsistent changing of gear.

So, the noise is back, although very settle, but it’s there nonetheless. Went to dealership to let them know, about it. And they were puzzled. They did some diagnostics, but no errors showed up. They decided to update software in mechatronic unit and in the engine/on-board computer. Not much changed. But told me that they have seen the problem before, and that flywheel replacement helped.
Regular Interval Service at 30000 km or two years.

Complaint about noise in low RPM’s at low gears. Especially in second and third gear. Jumpy at rolling from stand still. Again, symptoms that are described earlier are starting to occur more frequently.

Replacing the DSG7 gearbox itself. After some time, complaining about the uneven driving experience and noise from the gearbox/engine at lower gears and RPM’s, dealership called me in for replacement of the gearbox.

After a vacation where I drove across Europe and back home, noticed following symptoms.
Car is starting to make the grinding noise on more frequent basis. Now I can almost always provocate the noise in second and third gear. Especially when coasting and downshifting (on itself) from third to second gear. Occasionally the grinding noise would be audible in almost all gears except seventh. Also, I’ve experienced, twice, that when holding still, engine would stall and shut off. Stalling happened once in reverse gear. Display for the gear indicator would only show “D” as no gears are selected. Usually is shows in which gear it is eg. “D2”.
But dealership is refusing to do anything about it, as they are saying that it should be like that. But I disagree, and am looking for second opinion.

Went to dealership with the complaint about the noise from the gearbox when in low RPM’s; Especially in 2. and 3. gear. Car is running fine overall, it’s just a bit strange that is should make this “grinding” or even rattling sound. And occasianally it is shaky in second and third gear.
As I was not able to provocate the sound when talking to the dealership, I was told, that they couldn’t do much. As I need to show them the issue. So I drove off as there was not much I could do.
